We went to Avebury and Stonehenge this weekend. It was fab! Avebury is the same concept as stonehenge, and located only about an hour away. It is the largest standing stone circle in the world...1 mile in circumference. Craziness! It was FREEZING and WINDY on Saturday when we went. BRRRRRR. Here are pictures.

Tim dragged me to Avebury when we were there....I'd not heard of it before we got there, but it was great...far less touristy than Stonehenge. it is great following along with your travels!
